Pre-WWII U.S. Paratrooper M1936 Musette Bag (1940)
This is an original pre-WWII U.S. M1936 musette bag, commonly utilized by paratroopers and officers. It was manufactured by Powers and Company, Inc. in 1940 - one year prior to the United States' involvement in the war. It appears to have seen quite a bit of use. The OD#3 (khaki) material is well-worn, with damage and field repairs throughout. This musette bag would display quite nicely when completed with a belt and suspenders.
