This original U.S. WWII helmet set is in good, field-used condition. The McCord manufactured front seam swivel loop helmet shell's heat stamp of 857F dates its production to April 1944. It retains its original olive drab field repaint, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps. Its interior is marked with the original owner's laundry number, "F-9702". The helmet has recently been completed with an original Westinghouse manufactured helmet liner. It features green painted steel A-washers, dating its production from mid-1943 to mid-1944. It comes complete with an original headband and green-buckled leather liner strap. The liner's exterior showcases its original olive drab factory paint.
