Mid-WWII U.S. Swivel Loop McCord M1 Helmet Shell (March 1944)
This original WWII U.S. McCord manufactured front seam swivel loop M1 helmet shell is in combat-used condition. The heat stamp of 815B dates its production to March 1944. It retains its original olive drab factory finish, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstrap. The chinstrap is marked with the original owner's name, "J. Dunne". The swivel loops are strong and intact. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with green painted steel A-washers.
