Mid-WWII Swivel Loop Helmet & Westinghouse Liner (Complete Set)
This original U.S. WWII helmet set is in good, field-used condition. The McCord manufactured front seam swivel loop helmet shell's heat stamp of 909D dates its production to June 1944. It retains its original olive drab factory paint, cork texture, and khaki chinstraps. The partially torn chinstrap exhibits a flat brass buckle and a somewhat illegible laundry number. The helmet has recently been completed with an original Westinghouse manufactured helmet liner. It features blackened brass A-washers, dating its production from mid-1944 to 1945. It comes complete with an original green-buckled leather liner strap, headband, and neckband. The liner's exterior showcases its original olive drab factory paint.
