Late-WWII Westinghouse Infantry M1 Helmet Liner (W/ Neckband)

This is an original late-WWII Westinghouse manufactured M1 helmet liner. The exterior's original olive drab factory paint is in good condition. It features blackened brass A-washers, dating the liner's production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It has recently been outfitted with an original 1945-dated Scholl Manufacturing Co. neckband. The neckband exhibits the initials "L. M." This helmet liner would display quite nicely when completed with additional accessories.
