Late-WWII U.S. Westinghouse Infantry M1 Helmet Liner (W/ Headband & Neckband)
This is an original late-WWII Westinghouse manufactured M1 helmet liner. The exterior shows no trace of a factory paint finish. Its interior features blackened brass A-washers, dating the liner's production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It has recently been outfitted with an original George Frost Co. headband and a Comfort Slipper Corp. neckband. This helmet liner would display quite nicely when paired with a late-war swivel loop helmet shell.
