This is an original U.S. WWII Westinghouse manufactured M1 helmet liner. The original factory finish is in exceptional condition. It features blackened brass A-washers, which date its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original Philadelphia Leather Goods Co. headband, Scholl Manufacturing Co. neckband, and black-buckled leather liner strap with United Carr rivets. This liner would be an ideal match for a swivel loop helmet shell.
