Late-WWII U.S. Web Helmet Chinstraps OD#7 (Green)
This is an original matching set of U.S. WWII helmet shell chinstraps, consisting of steel T1 hardware and OD#7 (green) webbing. This set was recovered from a late-war swivel loop McCord manufactured helmet, but would have also been seen on comparable Schlueter examples. The webbing has frayed where it came into contact with the helmet's loops and stiffened somewhat from paint residue. The straps haven't been cut, only their stitching has been undone, meaning these are still their original length.
