Late-WWII U.S. Swivel Loop Schlueter M1 Helmet Shell (1945)
This is an original late-WWII U.S. Schlueter manufactured swivel loop M1 helmet shell. It is in very good condition. The heat stamp of 491A dates the helmet's production to 1945. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and OD#7 (green) chinstrap. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with blackened brass A-washers.
