Late-WWII Tech. Corporal's Inland/Firestone M1 Helmet Liner (Named)
This is an original U.S. WWII Inland/Firestone manufactured M1 helmet liner. Decorated atop the liner's factory finish is an original technician fifth grade rank, and just below that, the original owner's name, "Bukett". This liner features blackened brass A-washers, which date its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact, however the rear lower A-washer has unfortunately pulled away - a common flaw from the Firestone factory. The liner is outfitted with its original headband, neckband, and black-buckled leather liner strap, however the accessories do show some wear and tear.
