Late-WWII Swivel Loop Schlueter M1 Helmet & Westinghouse Liner (1944 Set)
This original U.S. WWII M1 helmet set is in good, field-used condition. The Schlueter manufactured front seam swivel loop helmet shell's heat stamp of 343A dates its production to October 1944. It retains its original olive drab factory paint, cork texture, and OD#7 chinstraps. The straps exhibit steel hardware. The top of the helmet is dented, however its ability to accept a helmet liner is not limited. It has recenly been paired with an original Westinghouse manufactured helmet liner. The liner features blackened brass A-washers, dating its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with an original headband and neckband - both of which were produced by Scholl Manufacturing Co.
