This original WWII U.S. Schlueter manufactured swivel loop M1 helmet shell is in excellent condition. The heat stamp of 510A dates the helmet's production to 1945. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and OD#7 (green) chinstrap. The chinstrap features a steel buckle in the "raised bar" variety and a T1 J-hook. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with blackened brass A-washers.
