Late-WWII Swivel Loop McCord M1 Helmet Shell (April 1944)
This original WWII U.S. McCord manufactured swivel loop M1 helmet shell is in excellent condition. The heat stamp of 882F dates the helmet's production to April 1944. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and khaki chinstrap. The chinstrap features a steel buckle in the "raised bar" variety and a T1 J-hook. This helmet would pair very nicely with a high pressure helmet liner with blackened brass A-washers.
