This original U.S. WWII helmet set is in good, field-used condition. The Schlueter manufactured swivel loop shell has a front seam, manganese steel rim, and a heat stamp of 323A, which dates its production to approximately October 1944. It retains its original olive drab factory paint, cork texture, and OD#3 chinstraps. The straps exhibit steel hardware. The Westinghouse manufactured helmet liner features blackened brass A-washers, dating its production from mid-1944 to 1945. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original headband, neckband, and blackened brass buckled leather liner strap.
