This is a very unique USMC helmet set in that it utilizes components from three different wars. The April 29th, 1953 dated camouflage cover is in very good condition. The rear seam swivel loop M1 helmet retains its original chinstrap remnants. Interestingly, one of the chinstrap clips is green painted steel (Korean War), while the other is black painted steel (Vietnam). The WWII manufactured Capac helmet liner features green painted steel A-washers, dating its production from mid-1943 to mid-1944. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original Korean War headband and neckband. The helmet set is named to "J. B. Bailey".
