Early-WWII U.S. Russet Leather Paratrooper Helmet Liner Chin Cup
This is an original, and exceedingly-rare, WWII paratrooper helmet liner chin cup. We've been fortunate enough to offer just one of these in recent years and it is a must-have for the discerning airborne collector. This specific example is the March 1942 variation, finished in the Army russet dye. It features five holes per side and a chamois-lined chin depression. It is slightly twisted and dried, but would still display without issue. This particular chin cup was recovered from a mid-war Westinghouse paratrooper liner, but would also be suitable for Inland paratrooper liners.
