Early-WWII U.S. McCord Fixed Loop M1 Helmet & Hawley Liner Set (1942)
This is an original early-WWII U.S. M1 helmet set. The McCord manufactured fixed loop shell's heat stamp of 221C dates its production to July 1942. It comes complete with an original third-pattern Hawley manufactured helmet liner. Its non-painted steel A-washers, khaki suspension, and studs for a removable leather liner strap, date the liner's production to late-1942. It comes complete with its original George Frost Co. double wire headband, Johnson & Johnson neckband, and remnants of a leather liner strap.
