Early-WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Rayon Headband (Size 7 1/4)
This is an original, albeit damaged, early-WWII U.S. manufactured rayon headband. It is a size 7 1/4, and bears the original owner's laundry number of B-2803. Although the webbing is tearing, the leather remains soft and pliable. It features United Carr marked blackened brass snaps. This would be an ideal headband for a helmet liner with a rayon suspension, as well as a transitional Inland or St. Clair.
