Early-WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Double Wire)
This is an original WWII Scholl Manufacturing Co. headband. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation, which dates the headband's production from early-1942 to mid-1942. The leather is in excellent condition. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
