Early-WWII U.S. Hawley Sun Helmet
This is an original early-WWII U.S. pith tropical sun helmet. Its manufacturer's ink stamping is unfortunately illegible or was never applied, however it was likely produced by Hawley, as International Hat Co. outfitted their helmets with web (as opposed to Hawley's leather) chinstraps and those are rarely missing. This helmet is in good condition. It still retains its original lining and drawstring. This helmet would be a great addition to a USMC display.
