Early-WWII U.S. Fixed Loop McCord M1 Helmet Shell (April 1942)
This is an original early-WWII U.S. McCord manufactured fixed loop M1 helmet shell. The heat stamp of 120D dates the helmet's production to April 1942. It retains its original factory paint, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstrap. The chinstrap exhibits a brass buckle, of the "raised-bar" variety. Pairing this helmet with an early-war liner will make for an excellent display piece.
