Early-WWII U.S. Firestone M1 Helmet Liner (1942-43)
This is an original early-WWII Firestone manufactured M1 helmet liner. The exterior factory finish is in excellent condition. The non-painted steel A-washers date the liner's production from late-1942 to mid-1943. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original Johnson & Johnson manufactured neckband and double-wire headband. This liner would pair quite nicely with a fixed loop M1 helmet shell.
