Early-WWII M1 Helmet Liner Rayon Hawley Neckband (Size 5)
This is an original WWII rayon neckband. These were issued in three different sizes during the war: 3, 4, and 5. This example's size stamping has since faded, but it is shown here alongside a confirmed size 4 (not included) and it is slightly larger. It features nickel-coated brass United Carr snaps. This would be an ideal neckband for all helmet liners with rayon suspensions.
