Early-WWII M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Double Wire)
This is an original and faintly stamped Scholl Manufacturing Co. WWII headband. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation and the earliest style spring-clips, which dates the headband's production to early-1942. The leather is in slightly deteriorated condition, but is still intact. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
