This is an original and faintly stamped Joseph N. Eisendrath Co. WWII headband. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation and the earliest style spring-clips, which dates the headband's production to early-1942. The slightly sweat-stained leather remains quite soft and pliable. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
