This original WWII headband's manufacturer markings have faded over time. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation, dating the headband's production from early-1942 to mid-1942. The leather is very soft and pliable, however it exhibits what appears to be overspray of white paint. The khaki fabric is tearing near some of the spring clips. These aforementioned flaws have resulted in a 50% price reduction. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
