This is an original early-WWII IMP manufactured M1 helmet liner. The exterior's original olive drab factory paint has completely worn away. It features parkerized steel A-washers, dating the liner's production from mid-1942 to mid-1943. The khaki suspension is strong and intact. Its original neckband is present. This helmet liner would display quite nicely when completed with additional accessories.
