This is a set of original early-Vietnam War helmet liner accessories. The sweatband is marked '1953A', which was a very early contract code for headbands produced during 1958. This is the first variation of the Vietnam type cotton headband, with the 'sawtooth' edge. The leather is still quite soft and supple and all of the spring clips are in working order. The leather liner strap exhibits a blackened steel buckle and DOT marked rivets. The neckband is dated 1962. All pieces are from the Vietnam War and are in good, matching condition.
